Andrea Schäfer

Based on her experience with change management in international companies, global leadership development programs, her own managerial background and a certified coaching education Andrea Schäfer has been practicing professional executive coaching since 2006.

She considers coaching as an effective way for people to master change, to their own as well as to their organization’s benefit. Most of the clients approach her because of the following challenges:

• They are faced with changes in their professional career and need to develop new strategies

• •They are newly appointed executives and need to develop into their new role

• • They experience interpersonal conflict with team-members, colleagues or superiors

• • They want to improve their self-management in challenging professional situations

• • They have just been through an Assessment Centre, 360-degree-Feedback or Managemen Audit, and need to work on their action plan

Before setting up her own management consultancy focusing on HR Consulting (Change, Performance and Talent Management) and Excecutive Coaching at the end of 2008, Andrea Schäfer acquired nearly 15 years of business experience at global companies, predominantly in international human resources positions. Her final assignment was Head of Corporate Leadership Tools & Programs at the global pharmaceutical and chemical company Merck KGaA.

Certified Executive Coach of the German Federal Association of Executive Coaching – DBVC

•Participation in a wide range of further professional development programs, on topics such as Leadership, Communication, Change, Systemic Consulting, Assessment & Development Tools (e.g. Leadership Architect®101, Voices®), regular supervision
